US to Quebec freight
Buying in the United States? We’ll go get it
You never have to talk to customs. Give us the supplier’s address, the pallet count and the weight: we issue the PARS, send it to your broker, file the eManifest before the truck reaches the line, and the freight leaves your dock with a signed proof of delivery.
The difficulty of a cross-border load is not the road, it is the border crossing: a missing document holds a trailer longer than a snowstorm does. So everything below is prepared before the truck reaches the line, not while it is sitting there.
In practice, your part stops at three pieces of information: where to pick up, how many pallets, what weight. The rest — coordinating with your customs broker, transmitting the PARS, filing the eManifest, tracking the crossing — is our job, and it costs you no back-and-forth.
You do need two things on your side: a business number (RM) with the Canada Revenue Agency, and a customs broker. If you don’t have one, we will refer you; we do not clear customs ourselves, and a carrier who claims otherwise is not telling the truth.
Our edge: our trucks head south loaded to New England, New York and the Midwest. They come back either way. That is why our price on inbound freight is hard to beat.

How it works
- 01
You give us three pieces of information
The pickup address, the pallet count and the weight. With that, you get a price in 30 minutes.
- 02
We issue the PARS and send it on
The PARS barcode goes to your customs broker, who prepares the entry before the truck rolls.
- 03
The eManifest is filed before the line
The electronic manifest is transmitted to the CBSA within the regulatory window. That is what avoids waiting on arrival.
- 04
Delivery and a signed proof
The freight is delivered to you in Quebec, and the signed POD is filed with the record.

Typical transit to Montreal
These are the orders of magnitude we see on our corridors, on a full truckload.
| Origin | Typical transit to Montreal |
|---|---|
| New England | 1 day |
| New York, New Jersey | 1 to 2 days |
| Pennsylvania, Ohio | 2 days |
| Midwest (Michigan, Illinois) | 2 to 3 days |
| Southeast and Texas | 3 to 5 days |
Indicative transit times on a full truckload, excluding customs holds and receiving appointment windows. The firm transit time for your load is confirmed at quoting time. On LTL, allow two to four days more.

What your supplier has to provide
Three documents, four if the goods qualify under CUSMA. They travel with the load and govern the crossing.
Commercial invoice
Seller, buyer, description of the goods, value and country of origin. This is the document customs calculates from.
Packing list
Piece count, weight and dimensions. It is also what lets us confirm the equipment before the pickup.
Bill of lading
Issued at loading, it travels with the freight and carries the seal number.
CUSMA certification of origin
Optional, but it is what saves you the duty when the goods qualify. Ask your supplier for it before shipping.
