Midwest and Southeast
These corridors are measured in days, not hours. What makes them predictable is not speed: it is finding a truck that has just delivered nearby.
On a Cleveland or Chicago pickup, the question is not how long the road takes: it is who delivered there this morning. Our network exists exactly for that — finding the trailer already on the ground instead of sending an empty one down from Quebec, which would double the price.
The Southeast and Texas add distance, and winter adds the temperature swing. A load that leaves Dallas at 25 °C arrives in Montreal at −25 °C: for anything that can freeze, it is on these corridors that a heated trailer becomes necessary, not on the short runs.
The crossing is made mainly at Detroit–Windsor and Buffalo–Fort Erie, then along the 401 corridor. The documents are prepared the same way as on the Northeast; it is the pickup planning that needs more lead time.
